Ses Vistes

Our reunion was wonderful, enjoyed by all!  Many thanks for finding Ses Vistes for us – it was perfect, especially with the boat moored to a buoy in the bay below the house!  We took the grandchildren out sailing two days and did some sight-seeing in Port Lligat, Cadaques and Girona, but mostly we spent the time just sitting around the house talking. The Salvador Dali house/museum, within walking distance, was fabulous!

Please relay our thanks to Lee for providing excellent dinners.  The food was delicious and plentiful, and the presentation superb.  Lee was both pleasant to work with and flexible.  He not only prepared tasty dishes using the foods we requested, but also introduced us to local and other regional Spanish dishes (and I believe one of the dessert recipes was his mother’s!). I told him to get in touch with us, should he ever move to Seattle!

Please also relay our appreciation for the house rental to Barbara.  The location was ideal, particularly given the ability to moor the boat in the bay below.  We were very pleased with the housekeeper, Rosemary.  She provided the groceries we requested for breakfast (including freshly baked croissants every morning!) and readily did anything else we asked (which included 2 weeks of laundry from the boat).  She and her assistant did a great job cleaning the house and making the beds every day.  The manager, Kixe, was always accessible and helpful, even providing flight information for me to get to Germany after the reunion. – Guest, Canada – June 2016
