The location
An area of outstanding natural beauty in the north of the Costa Brava
Just 20 miles south of the French border, it is the easternmost point of the Spanish mainland, bounded by the Pyrennees mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. The climate is milder than the southern Costas and, hence, more comfortable in the summer months when there is usually a gentle breeze from the mountains. The villa, Ses Vistes, sits directly at the front of the Bay of Port Lligat.
The region offers skiing in the winter; sailing in the summer; great cuisine and many fascinating places to visit including the cities of Barcelona and Girona and the rest of the Costa Brava.
