Opened in 2012, this is a fabulous restaurant run by three chefs from El Bulli. Excellent food, nice atmosphere and surprisingly inexpensive. Compartir means ‘to share’ and all dishes are meant to be shared between you and your guests. Essential to book.
This is also a fabulous restaurant. Excellent food, fabulous view overlooking the bay of Cadaqués, nice atmosphere and not expensive.
Excellent quality fresh fish, good service and lovely views across the bay of Cadaqués. Located round to the right of the Bay up some steps beside Sa Gambina.
A real hidden gem, just off the roundabout as you come into Cadaqués, beside the main car park. Good food, nice surroundings and its own car park!
Excellent quality fish and local dishes – paella, fideua, and really good wines from Rafa’s own local vineyard, Sa Perafita. Right on the village square.
Excellent quality food; efficient, friendly service. Up the hill beside the Tourist Information Office.
A good one to get talking to new people as tables are shared refectory style. Often very busy at peak periods and can be quite noisy but you’ll often get a free drink whilst you’re waiting outside. Located in the pedestrian road just past the pharmacy near the square.
Pretty restaurant in a lovely position, tucked away off the main square in the corner of the Bay. Interesting menu with excellent food.
Located in the square building that looks like a fort behind the lighthouse itself, this is a lively and popular place in a spectacular setting. Fresh fish and Indian dishes. Open all year except November. Advisable to book.
Right on the village square, serving the best pizzas in Cadaqués. Very busy all year round with fantastic, friendly service. Great for kids (and adults too).
Near Playa Es Poal round to the left of Cadaqués bay. Excellent tapas and wine from Sa Perafita.
The hotel has a good restaurant and is with a few minutes walking distance.

Voted in 2015 (for the second time) as the Best Restaurant in the World, Can Roca continues to uphold Catalonia’s leading position for great culinary artistry.
This is a fabulous restaurant just 40 minutes drive away in the Port of Llançà. Owned and run by head chef Paco Perez, who holds 5 Michelin stars, Miramar is an absolute must. The Menu Degustacion is wonderful. Book on +34 972 38 01 32 – you should be able to get a table (for now!).
Run by the world’s only female 5 Michelin starred chef, Carme Ruscalleda and another in the San Pellegrino World’s Top Restaurants list. Located at Sant Pol de Mar, on the coast midway between Barcelona and Girona.
Another great restaurant with 2 Michelin stars in Olot, about 1 hour drive from Cadaques.
In the nearby bay of Roses, this restaurant was awarded its first Michelin star in 2013.
One of the top restaurants in Figueres.
We really like this one. Has first-class cuisine (the foie-gras is delicious and the fiduea is well worth trying – like a paella but with noodles instead of rice), is on the outskirts of Figueres, easy to park, has a lovely outdoor pool for the kids (and great macaroni and deserts). Great if you are planning an excursion to Figueres for the Dali museum or shopping – stop here on the way or on the way back.
Situated on the promenade, just off the square as you come into the centre of Roses, they serve THE most wonderful pizzas – best we have ever had (choose from the chef’s specials) and salads.
